The Life Bridge
Story
Believing that Jesus is the bridge for man to God, Pastor Bill Campbell joined with a committed core of Christians to begin Life Bridge Church in September 2004. From the outset it was obvious that this was a community where lives would be changed and where a passion for local, regional, and global impact would define who we are.
Our first two years we met in rented facilities and worked through the challenges of being a portable church! In 2006 we began construction of our new facility and moved in on Christmas Eve Sunday, 2006. Our worship facility provides an atmosphere that is inviting and inclusive. From the aroma of the gourmet coffee from the Bridge Café, to the family room atmosphere of the foyer, to the multi-sensory experience of lighting, video, and sound offered in our worship center, the environment is conducive to all who enter. Our teenagers are impacted through the specialized ministry of The Warehouse. Children are the focus of age-related activities and teaching in The Neighborhood.
On any given Sunday over 650 people of various ages and backgrounds come together to worship and to be challenged with practical life-changing teaching. Our worship format is especially appealing to young adults, but reaches the multi-generational community of Life Bridge. Community Groups meet throughout the city to provide opportunities for spiritual growth and relationship. Our emphasis on global impact inspires everyone involved to be a part of reaching the ends of the earth with the message of life and hope in Jesus!
The call to authentic Biblical Christianity is the passion of Life Bridge. As we advance into the future, we believe that we will make a difference in Fort Wayne and around the world as we connect to God, each other, and the world, through Christ!
